" MAJOR AZIZ BHATTI " Major Raja Abdul-Aziz Bhatti usually known as Major Aziz Bhatti, was an army officer in the Pakistan Army who was cited with the Nishan-e-Haider for his actions of valor during the Battle of Burki in second war with India in 1965. In 1997, he was subjected to a biographical war drama telefilm , Major Raja Aziz Bhatti, produced by the ISPR and directed by Salim Tahir of the PTV . [2] was a Staff officer in the Pakistan Army who received Pakistan's highest award for valor. He is also known as "Muhafiz-e-Lahore" (Protector of Lahore). He was born in Hong Kong to a Muslim Rajput family from Lahore in 1928. [3] He moved to Pakistan before it became independent in 1947, living in the village of Ladian , Kharian , Gujrat . There he enlisted with the newly formed Pakistani Army and was commissioned to the Punjab Regiment in 1950. [4] ( copyrighted )
